Far Eastern (Mediterranean) Tasters Evening

Due to some last minute drop-outs the Tasters evening will now take place on FRIDAY 29 September, not 15 Sept as previously advertised
– The Tasters Club – food and drink for the discerning palate…
Tasters club – Hassocks branch – a chance to try many different varieties of drink from around the world. But even better than that we then match the drinks with some appropriate food morsels from the Purple Carrot kitchens to most pleasantly pass away the hours of a weekend evening.

Taking the Levant region as our rough guide (Greek Islands, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, Egypt, Cyprus and maybe even a bit of Libya) Be prepared to experience a wide selection of meat, fish, pulses and plant-based food and drink from an area of superb salads, spice and subtlety, soup and sauces. with drinks that you thought could only ever work on holiday we’re pushing the boat out to take a cruiser eye view of what’s in the Med.
Find out just how wonderfully lush the answers can be, and discuss the findings with fellow explorers…and all under the new PC Pagoda (weather permitting), as we step into the unknown together.
