Tasters club – Hassocks branch – a chance to try many different varieties of drink from around the world. Hopefully matched up with something appropriate from the Purple Carrot kitchens to most pleasantly pass away the hours of a weekend evening.

Black Sea – it’s not just one skirmish after another. A Large, famed inland sea bordered by Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria & Romania.

Be prepared to experience a wide selection of food and drink from an area where west almost meets east.  Is it all just Turkish kebobs? Ukrainian Borsch and Mushroom gravy, or can we find the subtler spicy garlic tastes of west Georgian ajapsandali.  Who is to say what Russia, Bulgaria and Romania bring to the table but I’m sure a few startlingly good wines may just pop up, perhaps a local fire-water or two may fit the bill.
